make your own christmas presents

This short workshop will run twice at the end of the year. 

Bring 1m of fabric max and some of your fabric scraps to make some Christmas presents. 

The workshop is two hours long. Depending on your sewing abilities you can make one or more of the four products available. 

There is a choice of four things your can make, and they cover all level of sewing. 

- The lavender bags are really easy to make if you are a beginner sewer

- The storage pouches are equally easy to make and it is a really good way to use fabric scraps 

- The hot water bottle cover is a bit more complicated as it involves more layer of fabric and a bias binding finishing on the back 

- The bolster cushion is the hardest, as it needs a zip and some pipping​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

All the products can be made with 1m of fabric and less. If you are planning to make several products, just bring more fabric.

The bolster cushion and hot water bottle are not provided. 

The patterns provided for these two item are for : 

° a 46cm x 20 cm bolster cushion 

° a small water bottle 26cm x 16xcm

WHAT TO BRING 

°Basic sewing tools - needles, pins, scissors, pens, chalk and ruler

° 1m of fabric and some scraps (bring more if you feel ambitious)

°Matching thread 

°A 46cm zip or longer if planning to make the bolster cushion

°1,30m of pipping if planning to make the bolster cushion
