kimono

If you have always wanted to make your very own kimono, this workshop is for you.

Workshop available for anyone who knows how to use a sewing machine, has some good sewing basics & has made some clothes before

This kimono is unlined, has an under arm opening and long open sleeves.

This kimono has been designed to fit both in Japanese width fabric as well as standard width fabric as I wanted to stick to the traditional way. Originally I had a short a medium and a long kimono but fabric can be really expensive so this is a workshop for a short kimono which is 74cm long.

A traditional kimono cut on a Japanese width cloth usually fits nicely a size 10 to 14

I have made it in three sizes to try to fit a wider range of bodies.

The fabric is not provided in this workshop

See below the sizing chart & the fabric requirement per size.
